About PyLadies Boston

PyLadies is a mentorship group for women with a focus on helping more women become active participants and leaders in the Python open source community.

The Boston chapter is a community of women and nonbinary Python enthusiasts, developers, and programmers of all coding proficiency levels in the Greater Boston, Massachusetts area and throughout New England. We promote, educate and advance a diverse Python community through online community, outreach, education, conferences, events, and social gatherings.

We are very welcoming of aspiring Pythonistas. Python is an amazing first programming language if you are interested in learning or just starting out. Our mission is to empower more women and nonbinary folks to code and contribute to the open source community, and we encourage you to attend our meetups.

About the PSF

PyLadies Boston is a fiscal sponsoree of the Python Software Foundation (PSF).

The Python Software Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supported by its sponsor members and the public.  Our mission is to further the development of the Python language and its applications.

How the Donation Works

Payments are processed by PayPal through your existing PayPal account or your credit card.  You choose your payment method after you are transferred to the PayPal server.  A PayPal account is not required

If you wish to use a credit card, once on the PayPal site click the link "Don't have a PayPal account?", which will take you to a credit card form.  .

For your security, this website and the PSF do not acquire or retain any of your credit card data.

Following the transaction, you will receive both a PayPal receipt and our formal acknowledgement of your tax-deductible (USA) donation. 

Please whitelist psfmember.org and check your spam bins if you don't receive the acknowledgement from the PSF.
